Description

I'm always fascinated by animal creatures as warriors fighting in battle. I wanted to create a dynamic colour palette to bring out the emotion and mood to the scene, from the sky to the rocks and design elements in the armour.

This was also like a continuation painting from an initial painting I did and submitted here titled " Last Descendant " which was featured in the book 'EXPOSE 1' and CG Choice award many years back.

I use mainly photoshop for my paintings nowadays.
C&C are most appreciated to point out areas that can be improved on.

This is awesome. I remember the "Last Descendant"! That was so inspiring for me then, and this still is now.

This reminds me a little of the game Bloody Roar...with energy swords. This should be made into a game, stat. Wonderful illustration; love the environment.

This picture is full of motion; it's so busy, gives you the feeling you'll have to stare for a long time to get the full impact. I can see the sheer amount of effort put into it, and I'm impressed with that.
